HoHoHo! Christmas is just around the corner, and the excitement is palpable! Celebrate the holidays at the Wondrous Winter Gala at Ocean Park running from 7 December 2024 to 1 January 2025, with our newest friends from Sichuan, the adorable giant panda duo An An and Ke Ke, as they experience their very first Christmas in Hong Kong. Plus, our playful giant panda, Le Le, will also be joining in to make this festive season even more joyful!
To build on the excitement surrounding the arrival of our adorable pandas, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Panda Things!, six charming characters inspired by the beloved pandas at Ocean Park. Get ready for a dazzling array of festive activities, enchanting decorations, and an immersive panda-themed fantasy world of light and shadow that promises to captivate all who visit!
Phase 1: Festive charms starting 7 December
Embark on an exhilarating journey filled with vibrant performances, where the enchanting sounds of Jingle All The Way and high-energy dance extravaganzas like Jingle Bell Rock and Sweet Melody Groove set the stage for an unforgettable holiday experience.
As the excitement builds, prepare for a delightful surprise appearance of Santa Claus, who travels from his snowy abode in Lapland, Finland, on specific days to bring joy to all. But the festivities don’t stop there – join Whiskers & Friends, along with merry elves, in the Christmas Shining Bright Party, where they spread holiday cheer throughout the Park, making this a celebration you won't want to miss!
Capture the spirit of the season at the Waterfront Plaza with the stunning 6-metre-tall Panda Claus Tree, featuring this year’s adorable giant panda superstars! This charming tree, adorned with twinkling decorations, offers the perfect backdrop for your holiday photos. In the evening, immerse yourself in the dazzling Gala Of Lights – Winter Celebration. The multimedia show will showcase a fresh winter theme that elevates your festive experience to new heights of wonder and joy!
Phase 2: Get ready for more pandamania on 21 December
To celebrate the first Christmas in Hong Kong for An An and Ke Ke, as well as Ying Ying and Le Le with their twin cubs, various panda-themed experiences will be unveiled on 21 December 2024. Dive into the enchanting world of Panda Wonders: An Illuminated Journey, a specially crafted experience that takes visitors on a mesmerising journey of light and shadow.
Make sure you visit the charming panda figures at Waterfront Plaza, where these lovable creatures have been transformed into impressive 5-metre-tall Giant Panda Pals inflatables. Explore an array of delightful Panda Photo Mania scattered around the park, while the Panda Laser Delight will be projected onto Ocean Park's iconic “seahorse” on Brick Hill at night, perfect for capturing those heartwarming moments!
Meet the adorable new Panda Things! characters
Inspired by our six adorable pandas, Ying Ying, Le Le, their playful newborn twins, and the charming newcomers An An and Ke Ke, these delightful Panda Things! characters are already making their appearances throughout Ocean Park, spreading joy and cuteness everywhere they go!
Each character is a fun reflection of their real-life counterparts, complete with unique traits like eye patches and fuzzy patterns, plus personalities that range from playful to curious and gentle. Ocean Park is teaming up with amazing partners like Casetify, Chow Tai Fook, Memorigin Watch Company, and Imperial Patisserie, to launch an exciting line-up of products and experiences featuring these beloved characters so stay tuned.
