What is Mission R?

Mission R is a conservation advocacy initiative launched by Ocean Park Corporation in 2023, with the goal of fostering community collaboration and inspiring public participation. Inspired by the Reverse the Red movement initiated by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), Mission R focuses on reversing species extinction trends. With three key directions – Saving Species and Habitats, Eat Local and Plastic Challenge, Mission R aims to encourage behaviour changes and invite the public to work collectively towards a sustainable future.
