Little Meerkat and Giant Tortoise Adventure

An Edutaining Voyage

When Whiskers & Friends returned from their journey to Africa, they found that some meerkats and Aldabra giant tortoises had stowed away onboard with them! You can meet Ocean Park's latest exciting stars at our new animal exhibit, "Little Meerkat and Giant Tortoise Adventure"!

New Animal Exhibit: Little Meerkat and Giant Tortoise Adventure

The adorable, energetic meerkats love to dart about, stand up and look around, while the Aldabra giant tortoises do everything slowly, from walking to eating! The exhibit also features African tribal-style decorations, as well as interactive games where you can help meerkats pick their food or run races with different African animals! Have fun and use all five of your senses to learn about our newest animal friends, the importance of preserving their habitats, and how to respect nature and be a responsible world citizen.

Adorable African-Themed Delicacies

At our Whiskers Express food kiosk, you'll find the delectable Meerkat Set Menu, featuring a Teriyaki Angus Beef Burger, Criss Cut Fries, Chocolate Panna Cotta and Meerkat Chocolate. Pair it with a Single Origin Kenya Coffee or a Soda Bucket to continue the African vibe! Be sure to take a snap beforehand to share with your friends!

Whiskers & Friends African Adventure Collection Merchandise

Whiskers & Friends have launched their new African Adventure Collection, featuring Whiskers, Redd, Bao Bao and others dressed up in African-themes costumes and posing with their playful meerkat friend! Besides the must-buy print T-shirts and Redd 3D cardholders, our two African animal stars also have their own adorable merchandise, including meerkat and giant tortoise plush toys, cross-body bags and key rings. “Like Meerkat, Like Tortoise” Instagram Contest

Meerkats are inquisitive, playful and very expressive, while giant tortoises take it easy and live a slow, relaxed life. Do they remind you of any of your friends? From now till 31 August 2020, come visit our new animal exhibit, “Little Meerkat and Giant Tortoise Adventure”, and take pictures of our adorable meerkats and Aldabra giant tortoises. Upload your photos to your personal Instagram account and tag friends that you think look like them for a chance to win four Ocean Park admission tickets and F&B vouchers valued at HK$2,000. Join the contest now!

How to play:
1. Upload meerkat or giant tortoise photos to your personal Instagram account (set to public)
2. Tag a friend in each photo and explain how they look like the animal pictured
