A giant birthday card for our giant pandas! Make your mark and a donation!
(24 July 2008‧Hong Kong) Panda-Lovers Unite: Ying Ying and Le Le are turning three this August!* To celebrate, Ocean Park will host the first ever Ying Ying and Le Le Giant Birthday Card Workshop and invites all its guests to help create a 30-meter long greeting card fit for two giant Pandas!
From 28 July to 6 Aug 2008, all Ocean Park guests can participate by making a donation of any amount to the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong in support of the Sichuan Earthquake Relief – Giant Panda Base Rebuilding Fund and sending their best wishes to the birthday boy and girl by making a hand-print and leaving a signature on the Park’s gigantic birthday card. Once the card is completed, it will be weatherproofed and then presented to Ying Ying and Le Le during their month-long birthday celebration.
The Ying Ying and Le Le Giant Birthday Card Workshop will take place at SkyFair Plaza in the Lowland. Calling all of Ying Ying and Le Le’s friends: come to Ocean Park and make the pandas’ birthday a special one. Let’s celebrate the duo’s birthday and make a donation for the reconstruction of their home town!
