At 10:47am on 30 January, Ocean Park Tower, located at the Summit area of Ocean Park, was suspended during normal operation at approximately 2 metres off the ground, due to control signal interruption. The cabin returned to ground level under manual operation, and all 43 guests disembarked from the ride safely at 11:08am without reporting any discomfort or illnesses. EMSD was notified of the ride stoppage immediately.
The ride was subsequently closed for inspection and reopened at 11:55am after thorough testing and review.
