Ocean Park thanks the Government for introducing an array of measures and projects in recent years to prepare for the recovery of the tourism industry. The Park will continue to render strong support to the Invigorating Island South Initiative, and implement its strategy for the future in full speed to transform the Park into a new resort and leisure destination.
Following the official opening of Water World, the Park hopes to introduce the new Retail, Dining and Entertainment Zone in the lower park, and the Wellness and Adventure Zones in the upper park to the public as soon as possible. The Park also looks forward to the completion of two new piers which will enable visitors to travel around Ocean Park, Water World and other locations on water transport.
Together with other initiatives announced in the Policy Address, including Green Link in Wong Chuk Hang, the Shek O Water Sports Complex, integration of recreational facilities in the Southern District and the Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter expansion study, Ocean Park will work closely with the Government and relevant stakeholders to drive leisure and entertainment as well as cultural, green and creative tourism developments for the area and broaden our economic contribution to the district.
