Ocean Park celebrated the official launch of the Panda Twins Fan Club, a brand-new community dedicated to the beloved Hong Kong-born giant panda twins, “Elder Sister” and “Little Brother”. The highly anticipated inauguration event was joined by “panda pawrents” Ian Chan and Keung To from MIRROR, who thrilled the audience by unveiling and performing a theme song composed especially for the twins. The duo also visited the pandas along with a group of fan club members.
“The panda cubs have attracted a massive following since their birth, with the official social media page now boasting more than 150,000 followers,” said Paulo Pong, Chairman of Ocean Park Corporation, in the welcoming video. “We are delighted to launch the Panda Twins Fan Club, and hope that through this official channel, we can bring more exclusive benefits to all panda fans, while also promoting panda conservation efforts. Thank you to all the fans who have joined the Fan Club, and to all our collaborating guests and organisations for their support. We will be announcing more spectacular panda-themed activities and experiences soon, so don't miss out!”
During the event, the two celebrity “panda pawrents” shared heartwarming anecdotes from their panda cub visits earlier and participated in a fun and engaging quiz game about the twins. They also performed Panda Cuddle, a new song composed for the pandas, for the first time, and presented “Elder Sister” and “Little Brother” with a commemorative vinyl record. This thoughtful gift will be displayed at the Giant Panda Adventure, where visitors can meet the panda twins.
“I was absolutely thrilled to learn that I could become the celebrity “panda pawrent” of the twins! Inspired by this incredible opportunity, I composed a special song just for them. It was truly an unforgettable experience to learn about giant pandas alongside Keung To and to sing that heartfelt tune together. My hope is that through music, we can inspire even more people to take notice of these amazing creatures and the importance of protecting their habitat!” said Ian Chan.
“Who would have thought that my first experience of learning milk preparation would be for giant panda cubs? It was a dream come true! One of the most unforgettable moments was during the music video shoot, when “Elder Sister” and “Little Brother” showed off their adorable and playful personalities and even approached the glass panel to say hello to us. They are like little stars! I urge everyone to come and visit them, so we can all join forces to support giant panda conservation!” said Keung To.
In addition to the support from the two celebrity “panda pawrents”, the Ian Chan International Fan Club and the Keung To HK Fan Club each donated HK$380,000, amounting to a total of HK$760,000. This donation was made at the event to Ocean Park Corporation in support of Ocean Park's giant panda conservation efforts. These efforts include giant panda husbandry and breeding, educational activities as well as giant panda research projects in the wild.
Following the ceremony, Keung To and Ian Chan attended four exclusive Giant Panda Twins Fan Club Private Tours, visiting “Elder Sister” and “Little Brother” with club members and creating unforgettable memories. Participants also got a chance to win once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities with the two celebrities.

For just HK$880, visitors can join the Panda Twins Fan Club and enjoy a range of exclusive privileges, including priority booking for panda activities and workshops, early access to panda merchandise, and entry into lucky draws to win exclusive event places, joining more celebrity guests to witness the different stages of the twins’ growth.
In May, Ocean Park's panda caretakers will lead the private tours, sharing anecdotes about “Elder Sister” and “Little Brother”. Ocean Park will invite more special guests to attend a series of exciting events, and launch member-exclusive benefits.
