Ocean Park and the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) co-organised a spectacular Celebratory Event and Fun Day for Hong Kong's victorious Delegation to celebrate the historic wins of eight golds, 16 silvers and 29 bronzes at the Hangzhou 19th Asian Games!
Kenneth Fok, Chef de Mission of the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the Hangzhou 19th Asian Games, and 110 members of the Hong Kong, China Delegation, including 26 medallists from the Chinese chess, fencing, rowing, squash, windsurfing and wushu teams, ignited the park with their triumphant presence as they embarked on a thrilling Halloween journey of fun and festivities.
“The Hong Kong team has accomplished extraordinary results at this year’s Asian Games in Hangzhou. Ocean Park is brimming with excitement and pride as we host the team members for this joyous day, celebrating their immense success and the tremendous effort they have put in. Today, we wish athletes a sensational celebration filled with screams of victory and scary fun at our Halloween Fest. Ocean Park has always been committed to supporting sports and entertainment activities in Hong Kong. On top of promoting a vibrant sports culture alongside exceptional athletes, the Park has also been supporting Hong Kong Tourism Board’s ‘Hallo’ Hong Kong Halloween promotion, driving the atmosphere of Halloween citywide through Ocean Park's signature Halloween Fest,” said Paulo Pong, Chairman of Ocean Park Corporation.
"The hard-earned results in Asian Games are the collective achievements by the strenuous efforts made by our athletes, coaches, training and medical teams. Hong Kong, China Asian Games Delegation interacts with Halloween characters
The heart-pumping stage activity featured a riveting game that tested the athletes' lightning-fast reaction times and awe-inspiring physical skills. With Halloween characters as their teammates, Chinese chess representative Lam Ka Yan, e-sports representative Tsung Wai Ting, rowing team representative Lam San Tung, and windsurfing representative Ngai Wai Yan engaged in an exhilarating face-off, showcasing their remarkable talents as they navigated through the challenge that demanded quick thinking and lightning-quick reflexes.
Visitors and fans were thrilled to meet the sports heroes at the Park. They had the opportunity to interact with them, take photos together, and express their warm congratulations.
Ocean Park extends its heartfelt congratulations once again to the Hong Kong, China Delegation on their remarkable achievements, and fervently wishes them many more triumphant moments in the future.
