Ocean Park's industry-leading conservation efforts
"We are thrilled by the incredible response from fans around the world," said Howard Chuk, Head of Zoological Operations and Conservation at Ocean Park Corporation. "With the exceptional husbandry and veterinary care we provide our pandas, Hong Kong’s beloved pandas, An An, Jia Jia and Ying Ying, have achieved record-breaking milestones, and even our youngest, who started life fragile, is now flourishing. We deeply cherish these precious animal ambassadors, and we're dedicated to using their story to drive vital conservation and education efforts."

The legacy of Hong Kong giant pandas
An An became the world's longest-lived male giant panda under human care at the age of 31 and passed away at the age of 35. Jia Jia, who once held the title of the world's oldest giant panda under human care, died at the celebrated age of 38. Continuing this tradition, on 15 August 2024, just one day shy of her 19th birthday, Ying Ying made history by giving birth to the twin cubs, becoming the world's oldest first-time giant panda mother.

Ocean Park remains committed to fostering a vibrant community that celebrates the charm and conservation of pandas. Through a variety of exciting panda-themed experiences, such as the Giant Panda Poo Paper Workshop and Wowotou Studio, alongside enriching educational programmes and engaging online content, Ocean Park strives to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation for this precious species.

Exclusive behind-the-scenes access on iPanda
Chuk, along with the dedicated team of panda caretakers, will be providing exclusive, behind-the-scenes glimpses into the lives and daily care of the Park's six resident giant pandas on the iPanda channel. These include the over-eight-month-old twins, their parents Le Le and Ying Ying, and new additions An An and Ke Ke. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to witness the growth of these magnificent pandas!
