(Hong Kong – 14 August 2008) For all those who love the rich Indonesian culture and cuisines, as well as for Indonesians in Hong Kong who miss home – here’s good news! To celebrate the Indonesian Independence Day, from 15 August to 24 August, Ocean Park has teamed up with the Indonesian Consulate General in Hong Kong to bring us Pesta Indonesia at Ocean Park. During this period, passengers presenting Garuda Indonesia Airlines boarding passes and Indonesian passports at the Ticketing Offices can enjoy a ‘buy 2 adults get 1 child free” admission offer. Additionally, any Ocean Park guests presenting their Indonesian passports can enter the Park with a 15% discount on admission*.
Ocean Park’s SkyFair Plaza will be turned into an Indonesian fiesta with cultural performances#, arts and crafts for sale and display, and a food fare of delectable Indonesian cuisines, all brought to Ocean Park with the help of the Indonesian Consulate.
On top of all these, there will also be two Indonesian food cooking demonstrations daily outside the Bayview Restaurant on selected days#. Those with a spicy taste bud – don’t miss out!
Come 15 August, Ocean Park will be a hive of summer activities – with Kung Fu Wet and Wild Challenge, Extreme Trampoline and synchronized swimming performances, Kung Fu Panda Live, and now, Pesta Indonesia at Ocean Park.
